About the Author - Fabian Seeger

Fabian Seeger ist Magister der Sportwissenschaften und UEFA-A-Lizenz-Inhaber. Sein bisheriges Tätigkeitsfeld erstreckt sich auf die Vereins- und Verbandsebene.

Für den Hamburger Fußball-Verband e.V. war er Trainerausbilder (C- und B-Lizenz) und insgesamt 8 Jahre lang Auswahltrainer der Junioren (Jahrgänge 2000, 2005 und 2007) und Juniorinnen (Jahrgänge 2004, 2005 und 2006). Zudem war er für den Deutschen Fußball Bund e.V. insgesamt 9 Jahre lang DFB-Stützpunkttrainer und im Anschluss 4 Jahre hauptamtlicher DFB-Stützpunktkoordinator für das gesamte Hamburger Verbandsgebiet.

Auf der Vereinsebene war er als Trainer in der Herren-Oberliga aktiv und darüber hinaus 5 Jahre Sportlicher Leiter von Altona 93. Seit 2022 ist Seeger Sportlicher Leiter des Nachwuchsleistungszentrums vom FC St. Pauli.

Mittlerweile ist Seeger Autor mehrerer Fußball Fachbücher mit den Schwerpunkten Trainingskonzeption, Trainingsplanung und Trainingsdurchführung.
