About the Author - Peter Schreiner

Peter Schreiner is recognized worldwide as an expert in children’s and youth football. The former coach—who, among other roles, led Schalke 04’s U19 team—is the founder of the Institute for Youth Soccer and is a sought-after coach educator, author, and speaker, with numerous appearances at football congresses (DFB, BDFL, AEFCA) in over 28 countries. His publications have been translated into more than seven languages.

Many of his works, often co-authored with prominent figures such as Horst Wein and Norbert Elgert, have become standard references in the field. Notable titles include “The Art of Attacking Soccer” and “Developing Game Intelligence.”

He is also the organizer of the “Derbystar Youth and Amateur Coaches Congress” and a co-founder of “easy Sports-Software.”
